Believe it or not, the only people who put me into a screaming raging throwing-things fit are my parents. Everyone else just gets a Harrison Ford-esque growling off.

Not very often, but I'm the sort of person who just "collect" minor annoyances over time until I just explode*. Usually it's not even directed at the right person as anger is one emotion I don't feel comfortable expressing to most people :/

Like I said, it doesn't very often though. Luckily.

*Nothing violent though, mostly screaming and crying, and being meaner than I ought to be. My doors, however, suffered a lot from this when I was younger...

I follow politics everyday and I can get riled up. Most of the time, it just irritates me or depresses me but there's a healthy dose of real anger often enough to be cathartic I guess.

There are many different kinds of anger.

I get angry when the bus to the campus parking lot is full and I have to catch the next one, for example. Is this "genuine anger?" Not unless you expect sunshine and rainbows forever.

I got angry when it turned out that I had a plagiarism issue in my class. But that wasn't particularly personal, was it?

I get angry when I read about something horrible that happened 100 years ago, but all the perpetrators and victims are dead and there's nothing I can do about it. Is that "genuine anger?"

You have to establish this with your friend. Are they flying into rages? Or are they just kind of pissed off?

I don't seem to be capable of actually reaching an angry state. I can act angry because it seems like the appropriate response, but it's mostly a front. At best, I just get numb.

Pretty often. It doesn't help that a lot of commonly held views make me disproportionately bitter. And then being scared makes me angry, too, and I happen to be spend an awful lot of time being scared nowadays.

However, you usually can't tell if I'm angry. I don't throw temper tantrums.

I don't even know. I remember what my anger feels like and I don't think I feel it any more. I was arguing with my fiancé last night and sure, for simplicity's sake I'd say I was angry, but I wasn't really. I mean, I went through the motions of an argument, but I didn't really care because I knew it would end up with me just apologizing for attempting to have feelings about something.

Do things at work make me angry? I pretend things irritate me because that's normal, but I don't care because I just do what I'm told and I do the best I can with the resources I have. No point in caring.

Oh yeah. I guess I was angry in late December, but the situation was so fucked up that I felt very removed from my emotions.

So, tldr, very rarely because I'm an emotionally fucked up person.

Genuine seething anger? Not that often, something has to have a hell of an impact on me for my ire with it to last more than a couple of minutes.

Pissing me off however is really easy, I've got a very quick and snappish temper but it doesn't last that long and I'll forget about whatever annoyed me quickly too.

I get annoyed pretty often but as long as I can take some time away from things (which I always try to do) I get over it quickly. I can't remember the last time I was genuinely angry.

Depends on the day and what stupid shit is happening. Sometimes it's several times a day, other times once or not at all. I often throw things or scream (if I'm at home). But the full rage anger usually only last a couple minutes...then I can be pissy for a bit afterwards. Always been this way.

I guess it depends on what you mean by 'genuine anger'. The worst I've ever done to another person is raise my voice and storm off afterward, but more often than not I'll just get pissed, say my piece and try to forget it. (Or alternatively, hold it inside, get bitter or sad and have a massive cry or depressive episode later.)

I don't get super angry often, but I am easily annoyed and irritated. It doesn't typically last.

I spend my life annoyed at everything,* but angry not so much. I am quick to get annoyed and quick to get over it, if I actually get angry which happens like once every two years you should be scared tho because I get really, really mean and if you don't let me walk away I will hurt you*. But give me like 10 minutes alone and I will be back to my normal self again.

*My hobby is complaining, it makes the time go.
*Mostly with my words, but when people have tried to hold me back I have hit them.

Not very often. To be honest most things don't bother me, especially if it's something I can't really do anything about. I'm more likely to be that person you think has been taking Happy Pills than anything else. xD

That depends how you define it. I am very easily frustrated and angered, but true seething anger that sticks with me for years to follow, *maybe* once every couple years. I can only remember 3 times in the last 5 years I was *ANGRY*, and those have been in response to family betrayal of some kind.

More or less all the time. Ever since I was a kid, I can't remember being not angry. EXPRESSING that anger, however, is very difficult for me, because I've had to put a lot of safeguards in place over the years. So when I have a really legitimate reason to be pissed off, I have to get past a lot of "Getting upset won't help" and "There's no reason to feel this way" and so on. It's got as many steps as activating a nuclear missile, and for most of the same reasons.
