I love the Nolanverse films, but I don't agree that there aren't plenty of other good superhero films out there. I think the first Iron Man in particular is a very strong film, and Captain America: TWS couldn't have been much better. (Actually, I DO like TWS as much as The Dark Knight, and no, not just for Bucky.)

If you prefer Nolanverse to the Marvel films then I'm going to assume you want a more serious film with little humor, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just different. I don't see why we can't have both. (...And again, I feel like Marvel does a pretty good job of dealing with heavy real world issues like depression and PTSD in a realistic, sensitive way while still keeping a good sense of humor about things.)
