The OC argument was all I could find, but you're likely right there was something else at play.

They did exchange OCs freely before that, now that you mention it.

Same anon.

If they exchanged OCs freely until then, I wonder what was the story behind that. What was different about that particular OC? How did they feel the other two girls when they were told a character was off limit? Idk I can imagine at least three different ways to interpret the whole story. I wish we knew more, now I'm curious.

Hey OP maybe next time you could structure your paragraphs and shit so the eye can follow them

I had to spend a few seconds each chunk figuring out which was the next logical one in the chain you were writing kthx

I wasn't feeling very well while making this secret. In my mind, I just wanted to get it over and done with.

Not the best approach. Sorry.

Sorry you're feeling bad, OP! I hope whatever is weighing you down ends happily.

Lol, and most everyone else can read it fine. Get glasses or learn to read more.

OP, you've already admitted you didn't really know what was going on yet you're judging and acting like you've it all figured out.

Now you come clean and say even your "they were using her OC without permission" theory is bullshit because before that, they freely exchanged OCs with no problem.

Sounds like this secret is all about you putting down these people for no reason at all. Friends sometimes grow apart. So what? But no, these people aren't saints whom you could put on a pedesrsl and aspire to so now they must be demons.

Grow up.

I admit I'm not getting the full picture, but it really was about the character.

She made a blog post being vague about the affair, the ex-friends popped up in the comments and got angry at her. She replied that they used her OC in a story she wasn't comfortable with, insinuated that she did ask them before including their OCs in her stories, and when she said they were not as considerate with her as she was with them, they called her immature and left acting like they had the higher ground.

I did not go into this much detail in the secret because it was already full of text as it was, and because I was trying to not let slip details that could help track down the people in question.

"used her OC in a story she wasn't comfortable with"

I have to admit that's a very fair reason to be upset. It sounds like the friends aren't respecting her feelings about it. I mean it's better to be upfront than vaguely complaining which might look like barely disguised bitching and slamming someone.

Ideally she should confront her friend about it from the beginning and be honest. and if her friend is any kind of friend they'd listen to her feelings and consider them rather than blowing her off and telling her to get over it essentially.

/ has been in the middle of enough friend drama to see what's happening here.

Well you've been in the middle of enough drama period.

DA

Acting immature and claiming the higher ground just because someone asked them to be considerate does seem to speak of a deeper issue that just the OP thing though.

It sounds as though there was discord on that level in general -- you don't get THAT pissed off and angry at a friend for ONE instance of not being considerate. You get that way after a long pattern of behavior that's manifested in many more ways than just this one OC transgression.

It sounds like there was a whole lot more than that going on behind the scenes, OP.
