The fact that there are still people defending him at this point just makes me lose a bit of faith in humanity.

You understand the BBC bending over backwards to accommodate him because the TG franchise brings in a shitload of money for them (one estimate was about £100 million a year, between the merch and syndication), but if his fans still don't think his behavior is a problem and he should be allowed to keep doing it with no consequences than I have no idea what to say to that.

At this point I think they'd pretty much blindly defend from any charge, up to and including murder. Even if there was video showing him doing it. (I also don't get the people who think he's sexy, although I'm partial to James May, so I guess....).

I'm 99% sure the BBC won't fire him, he makes them too much money.

They should hire Sabine Schmitz to replace him. She is tall and mouthy too, and the change up between her and Hamster&Slow would really freshen the show. Or get Rowan Atkinson or Chris Evans to do it. Both of them are mad about cars, and entertaining in their own right.

And she's much easier to look at than Clarkson. *heh*
