Rossi>Gideon

The Prentiss/Elle slot is pretty much the same for me. I like most of the actresses/characters, though Elle's actress can't act.

Agreed on both accounts. Though I love every CM character (including Seaver and Alex, which seams to put me in the massive minority), Prentiss is my absolute favorite and Rossi is my third favorite.

I think I was helped by the fact that I waited to watch the Seaver episodes until after I knew JJ and Prentiss were coming back. Seaver was fine. After her initial episode, she mostly had exposition and there was not much to learn about her. She's very inoffensive and I felt really bad for the actress because of how the fans reacted to her and how she learned she was being fired.

I like Alex a lot too! I've been growing lukewarm towards Gideon but I don't hate him or anything. I love all the characters (I even liked Stauss at the end!).

Agreed so hard on Rossi > Gideon

I have a strong preference for Prentiss over Elle, but probably 90% of that is just liking Paget Brewster more than Lola Glaudini (and, if I'm being honest, a lot of that is just finding her more attractive). I don't think either character is really all that deep.

Plus, Prentiss has had a much longer run. We've had more time to get to know her. The end of Elle's arc was sloppy and left a bad taste, which is sad. Prentiss had two very nice send-offs.

But I like Alex and Kate too. I think all the ladies are great.

I'm with you re: the Rossi vs. Gideon, but I just didn't care for Elle at all.

I agree that Rossi > Gideon (Rossi was my first wet dream!) but I did prefer Elle to Prentiss. I resented her for a long time because of that. I wonder if that's because I find Elle more attractive than Prentiss though.

Agreed on Rossi > Gideon. Gideon just struck me as - I don't know, he gave me bad vibes.

I actually liked Elle a lot and was sad to see her go, but I also love Prentiss. They're very different characters for me and I don't know if I have a preference.

Prentiss > Elle (I've loved Paget since "Andy Richter Controls the Universe" though so I was biased)

I like Rossi so much more than Gideon.

But I like Elle (and Garcia, and JJ, and Seaver, and Alex, and Kate, and Jordan) all sooooo much better than Prentiss. I never liked her and her ski slope of a nose was so distracting.

For the longest time, her hair looked like a wig to me.

I generally do like Prentiss but there are certain episodes that she bugs me in (no matter how many times I see the ep or what happens later). She liked to insert herself in the lives of the other agents and sometimes that really grated me (especially as it didn't turn on her too much).
