I guess you've been spared thus far from seeing the epic whiny meltdown professional authors throw over negative reviews (which, in virtually every case, were more constructive and informed than the random "I don know what the hell you're writing about but I'll tear it up anyway" 'reviews' that spurred this wank).

It's cute that you seem to think this kind of behavior is solely the province of fanfic writers.

They weren't "tearing it up", the reviews were totally mild. Like "you could work on this and this but this is good."

Sometimes I think fandom culture is soo hypersensitive. Seriously.
