The fact that this secret is obviously trollish aside, how is Jeeves "obviously canonically straight"? *scratches head* I mean, he could be, but he has no canonical love interests whatsoever and never flirts with anyone. If anything, he sounds like an aro-ace to me, the "married to his job" sort of man.

This is going to sound sarcastic, but I'm asking in earnest - are you new to fandoms, perhaps outside of one you're in? Because I used to have that reaction too, but... people tend to slash things whether it's plausible or not. People ship the Winchester brothers from Supernatural. Like, I'm pretty sure 90% of the fandom is "Wincest." Slash really isn't about whether someone's possibly gay or anything else.
