Text: I saw a show years ago that said that one could survive by dehydration at sea by giving oneself a salt-water enema (assuming you had the materials, of course).

I always wanted to use this in a fanfic someday. Lots of h/co possibilities.

I finally thought of a fic where it seemed appropriate, and began reading up on the topic.

I was bummed to read that the efficiency of the procedure has been debunked (dare I say poo-poohed?) by medical science.
