The germanwings tragedy made me realize how fucking glad I am that I mostly follow other Europeans. I'm so over US-Americans applying their cultural framework to other countries' issues.

Other places are not America. For example, I live in Australia. It's Western, yeah, but we are still culturally different from America.

Spain, France and the UK weren't the only countries with colonies. Plenty of other European countries did, to the extent that it'd be disingenuous to pretend that it wasn't a known, widespread practice. In this case specifically, the OP referenced a German airline and...

that's kind of true, but the countries that didn't colonize anyone are largely the countries that didn't exist in the age of colonialism (or, I guess, Scandinavia)

it's not just Spain, France, and the UK. more like Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, and Russia

I'm so glad the Germanwings tragedy turned out to be a White madman and forced those fucking racist to check their prejudice on "terrorist=Muslims and they're the only ones to shoot down planes".

Guy is still not a terrorist. Anders Breivik was but this guy isn't. Also an entire school class of children died but I'm glad you could prove a point aright.
