For awhile, my reason was, "That trailer looks cool. I kinda want to see that." Went to more movies, saw more cool trailers, until I didn't need a reason anymore.

Video games were that for me.

There's nothing left. All the stupid reasons like movies and games and music are all un-ignorably stupid to me now. All that's left is loss and pain.

An overwhelming majority of people who attempt suicide and are rescued from it never reattempt. Because that line about suicide being a permanent solution to a temporary problem is, in fact, true.

So the best available data says that you are most likely to find a reason not to. I don't know what exactly, but statistically, you will.

Most days for me, it's that my loans wouldn't be forgiven, and they would all land with my parents. I don't want to do that to them.
