(Anonymous) 2015-03-29 09:02 pm (UTC)(link)Yeah, I understand how you might not be able to see that particular pairing. I only recently read through the series and while I can theoretically see Harry as being a deeply closeted bi and maaaaaybe a tiny bit attracted to Marcone, I really can't see them as going anywhere. Not even one-night-stand anywhere. Harry is much more attracted to women, and just too much against what Marcone stands for. And on the other side Marcone just doesn't seem that into Harry, esp. once he figures out that Harry isn't someone that he can use. There were a few moments here and there where I could see where the shippers might be coming from (the moment in White Night when Harry asks Marcone to help him save the human servants, for example) but unless there is some serious meaningful interaction between the characters in the upcoming books I'd say that this ship is skating on some pretty damn thin ice.
