I like Gravity Falls because it's funny, has enjoyable characters and at least has some continuity.

Adventure Time I tried to get into but it was too SO RUNDUM ROFL XD for me.

MLP was okay, but the fandom makes me cringe something fierce.

I still haven't watched Steven Universe.

You should get on that.

If all you've seen is the first season of AT, I suggest skipping it and watching the other seasons. The show ages and matures with Finn, so there's much less total random wtf-ery. Most people don't enjoy the first season.

It's only really good for setting up most of the major characters that show up later.
