Singing in a performance of Brahms' German Requiem on Saturday. We had a massed choir rehearsal last night and I know I won't be ready by Saturday. (And I'm just one singer in a huge chorus, but it's been dinned into us how just one singer can singlehandedly fuck up the entire performance.) And I love this piece and have wanted to sing it for 15 years, ever since the first time I heard it. I'm so mad at myself for not working harder.
