I reflexively think that with a few users. It took me a long time not to always see Kallanda as Bucky. I still see Case as a wooper. And I usually forget Kaijinscendre isn't actually the guy in her icon.

Elaminator kind of avoids that, although I do associate her with Bridget Regan.

And of course I exploit it by using "cartoon me" for all my icons (until I added this one with just raindrops). I could have mixed it up (I have a lot of characters of my own, just to start), but I kind of like having a consistent "me" face.

(Years ago, under another account, I used to use several icons so different from each other that I don't expect I had that kind of visual identity. And I enjoyed that as well.)
