I can relate. Brokeback Mountain completely wrecked me, even though I'm not gay, have never had an impossible love, have never been in that kind of situation in any way. But still...I was a complete mess after that movie and felt depressed for days and days afterward. Still don't know why that one affected me so strongly and other tragic love stories have not.

OMG, Brokeback Mountain totally ruined me for the day. And I watched it twice, once with friends, once with my mom 'cause I promised her I would watch it with her.

It's still one of my favourite movies, though I haven't watched it since 'cause I don't want to start bawling again.
