Oh I remember that rant. Yep that was a whole load of crazy right there.

Also maybe I'm being very technical here but...the constant references to sodomy confuse me. Weren't they two GIRLS? Like, no penises involved?

Or is sodomy just a catch all term for "teh gay" now?

With this sort of... opinion... everything gay comes back to gay dudes. I assume because if we let lesbians go on vacation on TV, then we've given tacit approval for *shiver* gay men to do the same.

rabidly anti-gay folks always seemed like the most weirdly homosexuality-obsessed conspiracy nuts to me. Like they think about it more than anyone else. Anything goes wrong in the world? "THE GAYS ARE DESTROYING US ALL"

Now I imagine John Wright as being like Mr. Crocker from Fairly Oddparents except with "THE GAY AGENDA" replacing "FAIRY GODPARENTS".

He claimed it was a figure of speech. It was incredibly badly chosen. 'Sodomy' I think he basically intended as 'sexual acts I disapprove of!'
