I'm bi and girl/boy relationship drama never tugs at my heartstrings at all, but I cry at everything gay or lesbian. Possibly that's because there's usually homophobia involved with gay stories, and that has hurt me more than any heartbreak ever did. Or if there's no homophobia that is always jarring and I cry because I feel sorry for myself and "they don't know how lucky they are". That's how I explain it.
