B99 is a nice balance. Although I feel like a SJW for wishing the female characters actually interacted positively. But at least they feel like real women. And I love the diversity.

What do you mean by "interacted positively?" Because I actually think one of the selling points of B99 is that the women are as funny as the men, a lot of comedies make women the "straight man" and make them entirely too nice and boring.

I think they're refering to the fact that the female characters don't seem to get along too well, specially in the first season.

Which I don't mind at all, they're more friendly rivals that true rivals.

AYRT I guess how they get along never stood out to me as bad. The whole team tends to come at odds with each other (because they all are pretty different personality wise) and part of the story of the show is them all learning to get along and respect one another.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I'm not necessarily saying they have to be BFFs, I work mostly with women and we're not all BFFs, but like you said they don't even seem to get along.

But then again, they also seem less than approachable towards the male characters, too. Gina and Jake are supposed to be good childhood friends and just don't see it.

I dunno, I feel like they get along much better as time goes on. They definitely work together and back each other up.
