Re: Magical Weight Gain...
(Anonymous) 2015-05-01 12:02 am (UTC)(link)Nope -- I've sadly reached my final height.
I'm 5'2" so I'm not absurdly small but...still kind of short.
3 pounds may not seem like much, but it's over 2.5% of my total weight.
Re: Magical Weight Gain...
(Anonymous) 2015-05-01 01:58 am (UTC)(link)That means, at maximum, you're at 120 lbs. But since you say 3 lbs is OVER 2.5%, that means you're under 120 lbs. At 5'2.
Dude, you're right smack dab in the middle of the normal BMI range. You're perfectly healthy. You're perfectly thin.
I'm gonna have to agree with some of the other posters here: the problem isn't the 3 lbs you might have gained. The problem is your mental state. You are completely obsessing over numbers and beating yourself up when you're at a healthy weight for your height.
Re: Magical Weight Gain...
(Anonymous) 2015-05-01 12:04 pm (UTC)(link)Exactly.
I'm 5'2", and I'm never going to be 120 pounds again. Last time I was, I was 12 years old and a B cup. These DDDs aren't going down that small, even when I'm my target weight. I'm of sturdy German/Irish stock and it shows.
I admit the OP likely has a totally different frame than I do (my weight goes to the lower stomach, hips, and rear. I call it "the tire"), but 120 pounds is not grossly overweight even for someone with a naturally very small frame, in my opinion.
