I can tell who's who! I am just so used to shows that I can't fallow the the show because all the actors are indistinguishable. this is so much better.

Yeah, this is one thing I really appreciate about shows with diverse casts. When you just have a bunch of generically attractive white guys with the same hairstyle, it takes me ages before I can tell any of the characters apart :P

Hence why I struggle with watching late night shows, I get confused between Kimmel and Fallon.

I know, right? When I first saw Pacific Rim, I didn't catch hardly anyone's name, so I came up with stupid placeholder names (Marshal Pentecost was Marshal Badass) and kinda had to scramble because there were so many stubbly white guys with really short hair.

Seriously, first principle of character design: make it so you can tell everyone apart at first glance.

I'm really bad at facial recognition, so more diverse looking casts are a plus in visual media, making it much easier to follow.
