"Ruffalo" is such a stupid surname. Like a combination of rough and buffalo.

I can't be attracted to people with overly stupid names.

It's really pronounced "Roo-FAH-low". It's Italian.

Does Mark Ruffalo use the correct Italian pronunciation, or Anglicize it?

It does sound better in Italian than English, though. Italian names can be quite attractive, too bad their bearers usually aren't!

That's not right, it's ROOF-fah-low. The double F makes you stress the first syllable. It would have to be spelled Rufallo to put the stress on the second syllable.

Maybe he pronounces it with the second syllable stressed, but a native Italian speaker would not.

I think it's sexy, but that may be only because I find him really attractive. It's not his looks (though he's nice-looking and has really good hair), it's his attitude and the way he treats people off the set.

The other guys range from goofy to prickly, but Ruffalo has this earnest niceness in how he appears in public that's really endearing.
