This ship doesn't work for me personally. Now that I've seen the movie, it didn't annoy me nearly as much as Clint's random out of the blue family or the attempts to portray him as the only normal one of the Avengers, but it still didn't work for me as a ship. I think it was partially because we could see that she was still afraid of the Hulk and sometimes that Bruce might Hulk out. She actually works for me with pretty much everyone but Bruce.

Although, what I did hate was her comment about being a monster too in regards to being sterilized. Fuck you, Joss. People who can't have kids or don't want them aren't monsters.

I don't think that comment was meant to say that "people who don't want kids are monsters", though?

I interpreted it as that she had been programmed not to care about anyone/anything, and they'd taken away every single possibility of that happening, including even the idea of a family.
