I don't think anyone on LJ is really reading my fic, and I don't know how to ask without sounding butthurt.

I mean, it's really a bit of a waste of time to bother posting it if not.

Maybe you could put a stat counter in one of your fic updates? I've seen some writers on LJ do that. There are invisible ones if you're not comfortable with people seeing it.

Why not post to other archives like ff.net or ao3 so you can see the hits and people can give kudos? Kudos are my only indication that people read and like my fic,
