Re: Vegetarianism

I did a vegetarian diet for Lent a couple years back. I'll admit, it was difficult (I worked in the School Kitchen from Hell at the time, so yes, there was some temptation, haha but I actually felt really, really good at the end. When I went to go get some blood tests done after Easter, my doctor -who didn't know I went on veg diet at the time- was so impressed with my results, he told me to 'keep doing whatever it is I was doing'.

Of course, I kinda fell off the wagon hard for about the same reasons as you. At most, I have to have a little bit of chicken every once in a while. But if I had the choice/resources/money (because vegetarian frozen meals and stuff aren't exactly cheap), I'd probably go back to being a vegetarian again for the health benefits. (Otherwise, when it comes to meat/fish, I at least try to find out if it was made in humane-as-possible environments, i.e. free-range chickens and cows, that sort of thing)
