I'm gay and I have lots of friends who don't really approve of being gay but who still like me. I'm used to hearing this. I understand this. I totally respect your right to have a different opinion, even if it's different from mine.

But here's the truth: I am SICK and TIRED of being the one who people say should keep QUIET and ACT NORMAL. So if fandom is the one place where I can be the one to tell people off for having COMPLETELY FUCKING WRONG OPINIONS and get all the support doing so, then you better bet your twisted knickers I'm gonna take that chance and make EVERY-FUCKING-LAST of you feel as miserable and oppressed in fandom as I feel constantly in my real life.
