it's not a specific one but any death where the character was written off because the actor decided to leave the show

i know its not avoidable but most of them are so stupid and hamfisted

Oh agreed. When a character has a random stupid death scene that seems pointless, I check right away to see if it's just a matter of the actor leaving.

I mean sometimes it can't be helped, but it usually prevents the show from being as good as it could have been.
