I don't understand why people are defending him to be honest.

Why in the world do you think it's okay to call someone a slut if they have four sexual partners. And, weirdly enough, there's no evidence that Nat's slept with any of them anyway.

A lot of jokes are offensive on some level, but not everyone is going to censor themselves all the time. Even if you consider what he said wrong, people make mistakes. I've slipped up and said things I didn't understand the full weight behind, even though I never meant to offend anyone. Should a person be demonized because of something like that?

There are plenty of legitimate shitty people in the world who intentionally try to hurt people, and one tasteless joke is what pushes people over the edge?
