Notes:

:x Dude, if Naono Bohra still did doujin, (a-and if she read Tsubasa, which she most likely does not) she'd be all over Kuro/Fay, and yeah, she'd make Kuro bottom. Pipe-dream, yes, but argh it would be so awesome. (And sexy. It would be really, really sexy.)

That's because there isn't any. people generally get along at mariasama, gardenofmaidens, &talesoflillian. after a few months of soeur_system's existence (a community intended to stimulate the "soeur" relationship amongst lj users) some people got cranky and bitchy caused some scenes and eventually left to create their own similar communities, and other people were upset with the bitchiness and left.

the fandom will probably be revived once the 4th season starts.

Ugh, I hear you. I mean, I say the same thing for Hinamori. People bash her and call her dumb, but if she was a boy, the fanbrats would think it's adorable and eat it up. Not to mention AizenHina would be insanely popular, and despite that being my OTP, it makes me sad when I think about that.

I don't think this is necessarily the case; there's a lot of hate on boy characters too, for being whiny.

There is a reason for girl characters being disliked for certain traits though, and that's because they've long been treated (and sometimes still are!) as the "true" female traits.

I mean, we're still a bit sensitive about the perfectly feminine, caring, and soft female characterisation. It wasn't so long ago that it was believed that it was the true personality of all women, and female characters who are strong without being mean are still incredibly rare.

A male character who takes the submissive role is "safe", because male characters don't have the same stigma do drag along. Plus, it's exciting for women to play with male characterisation that way, to realise and play with the thought that male =/= dominant.

Trust me, I looked for another picture. I wanted another picture. But I'm so damn sick of this movie, partially because of this comm, that I looked through the first few pages (four or so) of Google Image search and came back with a lot of stuff from various stage versions and not really a good picture for a fandom!secret. And I was just so sick of looking at Sweeney Todd stuff in general that it was this or the one of him in the smoke, which I'm even more sick of, so I just went with it.

I'm beginning to really hate that movie rather than just not like it.

11. If she were a boy, her insecurities would be relatively cute, and some timid little girl would like him, and it would be a sweet little extra-story that few people would really give a shit about. But as a girl, her insecreties are aggravating, and her little spruts of bravery seem calculated and annoying. I don't know why I dislike her, but I really, truly do, and find it frustrating that all the boys seem to like her despite the fact that, shock shock, surprise surprise, shes NOT the only girl there. But then again, you know my type. Almost all female characters drive me mad. I feel like most fandoms would be better without them. So sue me.

OMG fan senshi. As annoying as most mary sues can be, I adored reading some of those stories. I read fanfics, fan comics, and drew fanart for the characters. I wasn't too creative enough to make up my own, until maybe a year ago, and I don't feel bad about it either. There's something about Sailor Moon that makes it cool? I dunno. Or perhaps people just need to get over themselves. Fan characters aren't bad if people but THOUGHT into them.

There is something about Sailor Moon, I think. Self-inserts and other fangirl stuff have always been more acceptable there, in my experience. It's kind of odd, really.
