Notes:

14) I am amused that you're using a Photoshopped fake picture of a 'KH3 cover' as the background. But I guess I kinda agree. The only KH game that WAS KH and did the merging of Disney and SquareEnix right was the first game. After that, FAIL. :/ (Well, CoM had some cool moments with Riku and Mickey.)

You mentioned conventions - I would see if I could start a friendly meet-up at one, just so you know everyone coming is willing to meet others and will have a similar fandom-based interest. 28 - I couldn't agree more. I LOVED that series, I'm so glad it didn't really hit any fantard's radar. I would've hated to see it go the way of Bleach, Naruto, or Death Note.

15. On the subject of yaoi and yuri, if your friends know what homosexuality is, it can't be that hard. If they have no idea what homosexuality in, then, uh, you might have some problems aside from fandom.

25. I'm assuming you don't do that due to prejudices, etc.; if that's the case I'm sorry you don't feel comfortable telling people. I think my areas of fandom would not have a problem with anyone Muslim, from the Middle East, or who otherwise wears a hijab, but fandom isn't perfect and there's definitely some bad prejudice out there. But fandom really DOES have people from all different ages, professions, states and countries, religions, cultures, etc., and I think that's what makes it so great. ♥

37. I LOVE when fanfiction explores the minor characters -- the ones I like, of course, but I don't mind when they also explore the ones I may not like as much. I like how you can try and craft the whole person from the bits and pieces and clues you get in canon.

Sometimes I do sort of wish for a fandom for Speed Grapher, mostly because I want fics on the Thugs. Then I think of Euphoria!Sues and Suitengu/weepy-uke!Tsujidou (and somwhow they'd be able to have sex! D:) and remember that I'm happy with the way things are. :S

I think you might like this!" and then if they get into it then casually mention there are a lot of people on the internet who like it too and a few adaptions. If they're interested in it they'll probably go searching and find out everything for themselves and come to you for explanations and stuff themselves. Pick friends who are easily corrupted to try this on. and don't be pushy, because everyone hates that. They'll come around on their own. ♥

And if none of your friends are interested in it, force yourself to talk to people at cons because they're already fans.
