Pushing Daisies

I miss this show so much. If this show got a movie or another season, what would you like to see explored? What was your favorite part of the original series?

Ned was my fave with Emerson and Olive as close seconds. I just adored how positive and sweet Ned was. I loved Emerson's banter with everyone (especially Olive), and Olive's crush on Ned.

If there was a movie, I'd want Olive to find out about Ned's power and see her reaction, and I want to find out about Ned's dad. And for Emerson to be reunited with his daughter.

I haven’t been here in months, but last time I was here there was a thread about what we wanted to see in the future of PD, to which I say again, hell yeah!!!

My dream continuation is a TV movie or miniseries where Lily & Vivian kick off their Darling Mermaid Darlings tour, and Chuck, Ned, and Olive go along with them. Emerson stays behind to spend time with Penny, but while the others are away he starts unraveling some threads regarding the mystery of Ned’s dad. Meanwhile, across the pond the gang catches wind of Chuck’s father, and between trying to track him down and the aunts’ tour, a chase across Europe ensues (I want to see what the rest of the world looks like through the show’s uniquely rose-colored glasses). Along the way they address:
-The aunts’ reaction to Chuck being alive
-Vivian and Lily reconciling re: the Charles Charles affair
-What was up with Ned’s dad & company
-What was up with the pocket watches
-Olive to get looped in to Ned’s secret finally! (Who DIDN'T want that to happen?)
-What happened to Alfredo Aldarisio (who even remembers that guy?)
-I also kind of want to see Dwight Dixon revived for one minute, but that’s mostly because I loved Stephen Root.

(I really need to write this fanfic… someday I’ll have the time.)

Favorite Part of the Original... hmmmmmm… that’s tough. I loved literally everything about it - it was one of those things that was like the creator looked inside your head personally and decided to add everything they saw in there just to appeal to you. What immediately comes to mind though (which would be sorely lacking in my ‘ideal’ sequel) would be the Pie Hole + the attached apartment complex. What lovely architecture.

Every Raul Esparza fan remembers Alfredo Aldarisio, and they want justice for him. (Judging by my Tumblr dash anyway)

(AYRT) I was going to be surprised Raul Esparza of all people has a Tumblr following, but then I remembered how popular "Hannibal" was when I had a Tumblr and how great he was (is? He probably cheated death again) as Chilton.
