Yes! This woman has considered the possibility of a true matriarchy, and has determined that it would be glorious.

My favorite part has to be this:
Perfect health would be the normal state of women anyway, as we will learn by experience and observation what we should eat and do to stay healthy at all seasons and times. Most women will have rediscovered our healing, divination and extra-sensory communication powers.

But there's more where that came from. A woman-dominated society would also:
-have no need for laws
-have no need for nations, borders, or government
-abolish the concept of "work"
-be in perfect harmony with animals, the land, and the environment
-be conflict-free (unless the few men left alive step out of line)
-feature radically extended lifespans for women
-allow women to explore completely male-free means of reproduction (keep in mind this is a woman who argues that reproduction through PIV is "unnatural." Apparently, "unnatural" things are just great when they don't involve men)

...AND MORE!

It's a beautiful trainwreck of delusions. And I adore it.

(And btw, I just want to say, before the wank train pulls in: I completely understand that this is a totally wacky view that isn't shared by the vast, vast majority of feminists. She doesn't represent mainstream feminism at all, and I know that. This isn't meant to be a dig on feminism or feminists principles, it's just some crazy that tickles my funny bone and I hope it tickles yours, too)

I am one of four girls (and my poor little brother who never had a chance). We can be just as mean and vicious as boys. My two oldest sisters used to get into fist fights!

Okay, so the idea is, there'd be some work to get everything up and running, and then some small amount of work afterwards to maintain it, but basically, women would set up super efficient subsistence farming...stuff, and hardly have to do anything at all.

Also, the farming and the housing and everything would be so in harmony with the environment that it would have exactly zero impact on it.

Basically, she has no idea what actually living off the land is like.

Boy is she in for a surprise when the first bad storm happens!

Oh no it totally is! There's another post where in response to some comments she decries "gender essentialism," but meanwhile, she thinks all men are exactly alike, because they're men, and all women are exactly alike, because they're women. DUDE THAT'S ESSENTIALISM!

That article reminds me of that one sociology professor I had who hated business and commerce and loved nothing more than foisting an individual's problems on the collective back of society. Everyone was a victim and nobody was to blame for their own failings.

This difference between that professor and this article is that I can get drunk while perusing this article's bs. Couldn't drink in class.
