There's almost never a time to need an SUV. I always assume tiny penis.

I grew up in the Philippines where we started out with a car but switched to an SUV quickly after our first rainy season where the flood water sometimes was up to the car windows. That is a useful reason for an SUV.

Also they are probably useful if you do a lot of off-road driving.

Other than those reasons, though, they aren't useful. So most of the time I do judge people with them.

Well, I'm not going to lie... if you're the sort of person who does offroading for sport I'm probably also going to judge you.

If it's job related or the roads are nonexistent, I might give it a pass.

I used to think this and then my family moved to a place that was in the middle of nowhere. And given the winters here...yeah, it became a necessity.

Call me when they cross Nunavut in a dead-of-winter snowstorm in a two wheel drive car. Preferably one that hasn't been so modded that it barely resembles the factory vehicle.
