It was pretty decent. I'm reading the book it's based on right now because I liked the idea of the movie but felt like it wasn't quite done justice and I like to compare.

(Book is All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka for anyone curious.)

I might watch the movie again after I've finished the book, but yeah, so far I'm surprised by some of the stuff they changed--that seemed unnecessary in my eyes.

I haven't read the novel or the manga, but from the summary on wikipedia I do wish they'd kept Rita's axe as well as the person who made it for her.

I really need to read this book. Once I finish bar studying and The Great Zoo of China and Tolkien. Lord I have so much to read.
