My first fandom kind of protected my innocence in a way. (I was 12 when I really got into fandom).

It was the Legend of Zelda and what's interesting is that there's a good bit of fanfic, but almost none of it porny. There's romance of course but not sex.

Which from what I've seen of all my subsequent fandoms is not the case at all.
