I hate this so much. It really annoyed me when parts of The Walking Dead fandom went through this trans!Daryl phase where they headcanoned him as FtM. Really?

Who the hell knows, honestly. It wasn't a rampant headcanon or anything, but I saw it enough times that I was like "What the fuck is going on here?"

That's completely opposite to my feelings. I vastly prefer perfectly passing trans headcanons over effeminate FTMs and masculine MTFs. The latter fll into the old stereotype of trasngender people hilariously failing to perform as their actual gender, because feminity is for ~real~ women and masculinity for ~real~ men.
