Legitimate question: what is a "tucute" ? I didn't see the word till this week and I have no idea what its supposed to be.

"Tucute" is the name (chosen by themselves, I think) of tumblr transtrenders who like to pretend they're trans and attack actual trans people for saying you can't actually pick and choose being trans. They are the opposite of the people they call "truscum" - people (often trans) who believe you need to experience dysphoria to be trans.

"Tucutes" = people who believe that you don't need to be dysphoric to be trans

More accurate:

"Truscum" = peple who believe that social dysphoria is inherently tied to physical dysphoria. May include people who consider butch women and crossdressers to be appropriators and liars, who secretely dream of lipstick and dresses.

"Tucutes" = people who believe that physical dysphoria and social dysphoria can be separate. May include people who don't believe physical dysphoria is real or important.
