(Anonymous) 2015-06-06 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)I think that's why it has an R rating. Because when someone is stabbed, they are hurting and dying for the rest of the pic. It's not like cut to the next scene and they are hopping in and out of cars without so much as five minute break to lean against something.
It helps that the director, Miller was an ER doc way back when. So, he knows what damage a human body can go through and the effects afterward. It shows.
