I don't know if this helps any, but I'm currently debating on running a horror-themed fest? And while I was planning on posting starting in October, it's not going to be directly related to Halloween? Just don't know how to get the word out.

And I kind of want to run a winter themed porn fest but when to run it? Because when it's winter in a half of the world it's summer somewhere else and vice versa.

Since there tend to be a lot of wintery fests in November/December/January, it might be nice to have something during June/July/August. That would be a change of pace, at least.

yes! plus, that's the traditional time for horror in Japan. Creepy stories are best served hot with lots of rain.

See, I originally didn't plan on something in June-July-August frame because that's when the fandom I was in had a lot of their stuff, but now that's something I would definitely consider! Too bad it's too late to whip something up now; there's not enough time. :/ Maybe I could do a comment fest this year and a full blown fest next year...
