If I'd felt more engaged with the secondary quests then I would've absolutely loved this game. (Instead of liking it. A lot at times, but yea.)
I thought the whole ending confrontation was very anti-climatic. After building an army to fight him we don't get to see any of them fighting? Okay, BioWare. Okay.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-07 11:34 am (UTC)(link)I guess that's the difference then. I felt like the narrative line through the quests, even the side quests, was strong enough that I never felt like they got too same-y. Since there were so many side quests, I just didn't do the ones that felt boring to me. That was less often specific quests that I didn't like than me growing bored with an area and moving on.
I can see how if you were getting bored with the side quests how it you could critique the game then, since they are a huge portion of it.
The whole ending sequence with Corypheus made me rage, but apparently Bioware doesn't really know how to tie up their storylines with any kind of consistency, based on previous titles.
