(Anonymous) 2015-06-07 10:28 pm (UTC)(link)Mostly though I can't see how Cassandra being bi would affect her character at all. (Especially since in DA2 she becomes enamored with Hawke regardless of gender during the course of Varric's story) Her sexuality just isn't part of her story. Dorian's, though, blatantly is - to make him "not gay" completely changes his character. But if someone wants to run with the AU that their female Inquisitor was the exception to Dorian's homosexuality, then cool, that's their story, no sweat, but if they tried to argue that Dorian was only bi or even straight, that is when it becomes batshit mad.
