Re: Unpopular Opinions!

I'm fine with "Don't like? Don't read!" if it is obvious what I'm getting into. If I click on a Natasha/Clint story and it turns out that there is actually a lot of focus on Tony/Steve? I'm going to be bothered. Or if I click on a fic labeled Natasha/Bruce, and there is unlabeled for Clint/Coulson? I'm going to complain about that too. (I can't stand that ship.) Basically, what is happening in the review/summary/tags/whatever should be what is in the fic if someone is going to be able to legitimately say "Don't like? Don't read." Because otherwise it feels very dismissive against my complaints. Sure, I will stop reading, but I shouldn't have to. It should have been out there before I started reading. At least in my opinion.

Ah yes, I can agree to that. Deceptive tagging is no good. "Don't Like, Don't Read" only works as a response when the tags are honest.
