I see it as very much a blend, so I feel like the best fic would be just rewriting an episode of Veep with the appropriate casting.

(Don't think it could go the other way. If Selina were captain and everyone else were crewmen, the space station would be on fire by the end of episode 1. Episode 2 would be the Cardassians showing up and saying, "Whoa, what happened here?" and then Episode 3 is the Dominion just wandering through the wormhole and saying, "Is all of the Alpha Quadrant this stupid? Maybe we should just go back and kick ass around Beta and Delta.")

The description of Weyoun as a corporate dbag made me literally guffaw.

I love doing things like that. I have entire fantasy casts for DCU characters in Community, and 30 Rock. And Veep is a stellar choice for that kind of thing.

My favorite thing is that when I imagine Odo!Sue, I imagine regular Odo wearing Sue's clothes. No one comments on the fact that Odo looks all masculine-ish and is wearing feminine clothing. Why would there? Odo!Sue is terrifying.

I also appreciate that when I said Bashir is the one who has to be the Jolly Green Jizz Face and not Quark, you guys just go with it.
