I used to feel the exact same way about figurines, dolls & all that, and then the SO and I started collected amiibos. So now I'm eating my words.

I guess at least we take them out of the box and use them in Smash Bros

LOL My brothers have such a huge amiibo collection. IDEK what is what. They have some that are out of the box, others that are in the box, some where they aren't in the box but the boxes are sitting nice and pretty next to it.

I currently have 35+ Amiibo and only one of them is OOB. The rest are NIB since my mom is adamant that I don't open them (she wants to sell them in the future).

Mind you, I've been collecting Pokemon figures and other Nintendo-related figures since I was a kid, so amiibo are familiar territory. The exclusive ones are pretty BS though.
