that's bullshit, I don't give a shit about the Avengers or RDJ, but he sat down for a promotional interview for a dumb superhero movie, he didn't sit down for a tell-all 20/20 special. interviews have context, and the interviewer was being a sneaky brat with his intentionally incendiary questions. all actors are contractually obligated to appear in promotional interviews for their movies, that doesn't mean that every aspect of their personal lives is up for discussion, and that's a fucked up way of thinking.

"so I know you're here to promote your new cartoon "Puppy Goes to College" but it says here your uncle molested you when you were 9, want to talk about that?" "welcome to the show and congrats on your new movie, now how about that time you were assaulted by a stalker? how's that been?"
