I don't know what's behind your preference but it seems like a harmless enough thing to like.

Me, I'm not much for genderswap fic. I've read it on occasion, but almost always would rather read fic with the characters as their canon gender.

That said, I dig genderswapped fanart. (I've seen some good Disney stuff! In particular a female beast that is adorable.)

I would totally read a genderbent universe fic for BatB.

extra awesome if it's in comic form because female!Beast is so cute and I love her dress and because male!Belle is prettier than most canon Disney princes

Yea! I always thought canon Beast was cute, but female!Beast is maybe the cutest Disney character I've ever seen, her clothes are rad and the design is perfect, and male!Belle is a massive babe. I'm almost sad I found it because I want a whole lot more of it.
