IA. I saw Sherlock before the Hobbitt movies, and he's just... doing the exact same expressions and physical schtick.

Granted, not everyone is Meryl Streep, but ffs. Even Alison Hannigan has more range!

...and the same in H2G2. Which isn't a big deal, usually, because there are people like that, who are the same in every movie or show they're in, but when someone like that is popular, and in everything, I can see where it would get annoying. That doesn't bother me, so I'm meh about it.

That said. As of S3, BBC Sherlock fans have crossed the event horizon over into being completely insane, IMO.

Yeah. Martin Freeman doesn't have much range as an actor, but people like the "type" he plays and he's had the good luck to be cast in roles that really suit his strengths.
