Speaking as a deaf pedestrian who's been in pedestrian vs. bike accidents precisely twice in my life (no major injuries either time, fortunately) due to the fault of the cyclists, I don't want them on the sidewalks, either, thanks.

...See these things hanging off my ears? YELLING AND RINGING YOUR STUPID BELL IN THE MIDDLE OF RUSH HOUR IS NOT GOING TO HAVE ANY EFFECT AS YOU CONTINUE ON AT FULL SPEED AND EVENTUALLY PLOW INTO ME AT 20KPH.

Oh, trust me, I don't want them on the road or the sidewalk. I want them to put their little shorts away and get a fucking car already.

Feh. If I didn't have a vestibular disorder, I'd probably bike everywhere. (I wouldn't be a moron cyclist like the ones who hit me.) But I hate driving, too (cf. vestibular disorder "Now turn and look over your right shoulder" yeahbutno), so pedestrian is where I'm stuck. Basically, I'm the lowest on the commuter food chain, AND the most likely to die.
