Re: Question Thread

Okay, so this is a little weird.

I just received my first subscriber to Dreamwidth. I don't use Dreamwidth much; they're subscribing to a writer's blog where I put my fics. A different user expressed interest in some really old fic that I have written but never published (it's a sequel to other stuff). I said I would publish these for this other user. The fics are really bad compared to my stuff now but I have no energy to make them better. I don't mind putting them up but I also don't want to draw attention to these fics (I know that makes no sense to want to publish them but not "show" them - just, please go with it). My subscriber is someone I really respect and I'm not too keen on them noticing these fics (I know, it's out of my hands).

Since I don't use Dreamwidth, I was wondering what kind of notifications you get as a subscriber. If I published these as private and later turned them to public, do you get notifications about that if you subscribe? I know this is silly but I just wondered what I could do here (if anything).

Pretty sure it just means post show chronologically among the subscriber's circle pf people. Backdate and you should be fine if it's anything like LJ.
