I think you're entitled to feel bad because that's a dick move. There's no reason to purposefully change the tone and chide a prompter for their likes.

But to answer your question, yes I have felt ungrateful for a fill. In my case, the author did try to fill two of my prompts as I had written them. It was just so poorly written and so OOC that I couldn't appreciate it. I think they might be ESL or a young author so I would never say anything. I felt bad that I didn't like them, and also like a dick because I hope that someone else will still give my prompts a try.
