I like Peter and Miles and I find them both interesting but ymmv on that as with anything, but it isn't 'Peter is white' that has me feeling a bit eh about MCU Spiderman it's that this is going to be his third reboot in 14 years and that's kind of too much Peter Parker, even for me.

Hence why I would have liked Miles(or even Gwen) to get a chance, it would have been something different and new.

That was never going to happen for the simple reason that this is Marvel getting their precious bb spidey back. Of COURSE they're going for original spidey over one of the more recent incarnations.

Oh yeah I never clung onto the hope that they'd choose Miles for real, Parker was always going to be the MCU Spiderman if they could get him because he's their favourite, I just would have found it nice to have Miles in the MCU is all.
